🎯 Objective

Maintain the DPMU website homepage slider up to date, visually aligned with institutional events, announcements, and branding guidelines.

🧭 What

This process applies to the visual carousel and homepage sliders that promote DPMU’s academic programs, partnerships, and key announcements.

📋 Steps – How

1️⃣ Content Definition

  • Collect new slider materials (image, text, links) from the requesting department.
  • Verify that the event or program is validated by the Communication Department.
  • Prepare visuals using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator (recommended size 1920x800px).

2️⃣ Integration in WordPress

  • Access the DPMU WordPress admin panel.
  • Go to Templates → Sliders (Elementor or Smart Slider 3, depending on site configuration).
  • Replace outdated visuals with new ones, maintaining transition and animation consistency.
  • Add internal/external links (events, programs, application pages).

3️⃣ SEO and Accessibility

  • Optimize each image:
    • Format: WebP
    • Resolution: 72 DPI
    • ALT Text: Short and descriptive
  • Update metadata and internal link tracking in Zoho CRM → Campaigns.

4️⃣ Validation and Publication

  • Preview and validate design across devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
  • Obtain approval from the Director of Communication.
  • Publish and check homepage performance.
