Define the method for creating or updating a new page on the official ECL website in compliance with graphic standards, SEO requirements, and approval workflow.

The process applies to all academic, administrative, and event-related pages added to the ECL website.

📋 Steps – How

1️⃣ Content Definition

  • Gather the validated content (text, visuals, links) from the department concerned.
  • Draft the content in Office 365 Word and verify grammar and tone.
  • Submit for validation to the Communication Department.

2️⃣ Design and Integration

  • Access the ECL website’s WordPress back-office.
  • Create a new page using Elementor or Gutenberg blocks.
  • Apply the GeneratePress layout for full-width display.
  • Insert visuals prepared with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.

3️⃣ SEO Optimization

  • Use Yoast SEO to define meta title, description, and focus keywords.
  • Compress images (WebP format) before upload.
  • Add internal and external links to improve page ranking.

4️⃣ Validation and Publication

  • Preview the page and test responsiveness (desktop/mobile/tablet).
  • Validate the final version with the Director of Communication.
  • Publish the page and notify the relevant team through Zoho Connect.
